the rest of my life."
Kristy Loewen - Food Coach / Fitness Instructor
Philosophy
My philosophy is quite simple. Moderation. As a Food Coach and Fitness Instructor, I believe that creating a healthy lifestyle is more important than immediate results. Immediate results are easy to get but hard to maintain. I believe in setting attainable goals meant to be completed within a realistic time frame. As a Food Coach I believe in having and enjoying everything in moderation. You can still be healthy and have your favourite treat. As a Fitness Instructor I think that finding a workout that motivates and challenges you is a key to success. If you can find something you enjoy, it doesn't feel like work and you find yourself doing it just to have fun or to give your mood a lift. Enjoy life and everything it has to offer... in moderation.
Client Base of Class Style
Kristy's strengths lay in providing a class that flows from one exercise into another without wasting much time. Fabiana Martens - Instructor
I started practicing yoga in 2000, when I was pregnant with my youngest son. I joined a few 10-week sessions after that, but it wasn't until 2004 when I was diagnosed with MS that I decided to take my health and well being a little more seriously. Since then I had committed to 3, 40-day Power Yoga challenges that allowed me to practice yoga for 40 consecutive days. It was in this first 40 days that I realized and reaped the benefits of yoga. I became healthy, fit and well-balanced in my busy life. In 2005, my instructor was leaving and moving up north with her husband. I was devastated, wondering how I was going to move on without my new lifestyles, my motivator, and my guru... when she suggested that I become certified. So in 2005, I was certified as a level 1 Yoga instructor. My goal was not only to continue on my healthy and balanced lifestyle, but to also pass this on to others. To help others achieve and reap the many benefits of yoga. to build strength, stamina and flexibility thru the practice of yoga and to help one discover their inner self. In yoga, we focus on achieving that "final pose", let me help you experience the path to get there
